I once had the epiphany that wisdom can't exist without the "stupidity" to counteract it. Therefore the initial straying which I named stupidity, is what gives a chance for wisdom to be.
A good story needs conflict for a resolution... or there is no story.
Can no story be the story? Haha.
In a movie or book however, we are simply the observer. Safe from the drama, we are not actors in it... although we maybe actors watching it. Safe from the experience and actual catharsis which takes place.
But just like wisdom needs stupidity, catharsis also needs ignorance of some sort. Watch a movie which is "controversial and moving" from a point of view which is free of those internal taboos which make it so.... and everything becomes a comedy.
That's why horror movies seen from a "high" point of view are a downright ridiculous laugh fest.
But... the music sucks you into the mood, the seriousness... into the story. Just like a good plot, acting, etc. will suck you in. We forget it's not real.. and we have fun as a result. We get sucked in... and catharsis happens.
So where did this post come from? If I already knew this, then why did I have to say it aloud. Where is the stupidity that prompted the wisdom?
Trust me, I have a vault full of stupidity inside me... let's switch it up.. occultism.
Learning to live one's gods and demons. The empire to be ruled in the Tao Te Ching, the pantheon of greek gods, the manifestations of Brahman, etc... all exists within thyself. Won't you learn to love them inside you... gods and demons alike?
What Freud might call the unconscious. There are far more powerful demons than libido in my opinion though.
Shake it up... Ants
They move like water. Each a molecule in communication with the rest of the colony. They act as one and achieve amazing feats.
Back it up now... Movies
When you pay for the admission ticket... or download it... or press play... you agree to "get lost" in the movie for the sake of enjoying yourself. Maybe it's like that with life. When we are born... we get enamored by all the bells and whistles of the physical universe with all its detail and variety. I guess it's a stage and we're all entertainers.

I wrote this to entertain whoever read this.
I wrote this because I was bored and this is fun.
I wrote this because my mind was getting tangled in it's thoughts and writing out helps me to untangle them... though most times I just drop the whole cord that's tangled.
Go thoughts be free... torment someone else now.. I need to get some sleep.
