Before You Murder

I'm not saying murder is right.  But I'm also not saying murder is wrong.

Life is something that goes on and we take part in.  The whole universe is alive and we pop up into it here and there so that the universe can look at itself in someway.  I mean is there an environment if there isn't an eye to perceive it?  No, for the rainbow cannot be seen without the sun, the water, or the eye.  Tis the same with all phenomenon in space-time.... But back to murder

Now a rattlesnake is in the garage cornering my little cousin.  It's feeling threatened, but because of that, it is threatening.  I'm sorry rattlesnake, I'm making a judgement and you are tasting the end of this shovel if you come any closer.  I'm making the call... I know the situation and I will take responsibility for my actions.

Now a fly is on the table.  What freedom it enjoys.  I love life and why would I take this opportunity from this fly?  I look into it's eyes and it's begging for time to explore.  It's not hurting me right now... I let it walk on the coffee table.  It is aware of me as I am aware of it.  I give it a safe place safe and time to discover.

If there is even a slight chance of another being having a life of contemplation.. to discover for one self what life is all about... How the fuck can I take that?

Before you murder someone, look into his/her eyes, and make a judgement call.
